The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britian announces details of the 2006 Denis & Maud Wright Award.
A Three Day Residential Conducting Course from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th April 2006 to be held at Taunton School, Somerset.
Tutors: Geoffrey Brand (Course Director) & Dr Roy Newsome
A maximum of six persons will be selected from applicants of not more than 35 years of age by 7th April 2006.
The aim: To provide instruction in conducting skills for those who aspire to conduct and instruct a brass band. An important element of the course will be the opportunity to rehearse prepared works with a brass band.
